The location was fantastic as all the main attractions like Plaza Mayor and the Prado National Museum were just a short walk away. The room was small but adequate for my needs during my three-night stay, and I appreciated having a fridge. Even though the lack of a kettle was a bit inconvenient, the experience was overall enjoyable, especially roaming the lively streets filled with Spanish vibes.

The staff were outstanding in their friendly and helpful attitude. It was central to everything in Madrid and had clean and comfortable rooms. I have no complaints of any kind and would happily stay there again and recommend the hostal to my friends.

The location was marvellous - just a walk down to everywhere we wanted to go. The fact that Sol subway station was some 5 minutes away was a plus. Booked a room with an even smaller window...

The location is fantastic for exploring the city.
I found my room to be cramped and lacked sufficient air circulation. The shower had moldy sealant. There was little to no daylight, and communication issues with the staff when seeking assistance proved frustrating.

It is a well priced property located in Centro district not far from Plaza del Sol, which is the Central square of Madrid, the centre of Madrid, and Plaza Mayor. The employees are extraordinarily friendly and affable.

it is one of the best hostels in madrid, very cheap and comfortable with all possible amenities. Great value for money, the location is perfect on plaza Sol in the heart of the city.

The location was perfect--and if you request a room without noise, as we did, the hotel will provide you with a room that isn't on the streetside. That way, you can enjoy the amazing location in Sol but without having the consequence of late street noise until the wee hours of the morning.
Rooms are very small and beds a bit hard, but I have noticed that beds tend to be that way in Spanish hotels. The room was plenty clean, though, and if you aren´t planning to spend much time in the room, the size doesn´t matter too much.

Location and cleanlines of the room.
The noise could be a bit to much sometimes, but still could get good rest.

This hotel is positively charming, if you enjoy cramped spaces. The bathroom was so small, i was like i was in a sardine can, and the noise from other guests was unbearable. How about an upgrade for all my troubles? I was expecting more than this lackluster stay. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.
